Twelve Stone Flagons Ltd. was founded and led by Stanley J. Stankiwicz, known as the "Scotch Baron," who was the owner and producer of Usquaebach and other fine whiskies until his passing in November 2001. The company was best known for importing and distributing Usquaebach Scotch whisky in distinctive stone flagon bottles. After the founder's death, the family continued the legacy through Stone Flagon Whisky LLC, which produces Baron Select Whisky, while the Usquaebach brand was acquired by Cobalt Brands.
