Pusser's Rum is the authentic Royal Navy rum, produced according to the original Admiralty specifications used from 1655 until 1970. The name 'Pusser' comes from the ship's Purser who issued the daily rum ration to sailors.

In 1979, founder Charles Tobias obtained the rights to the Royal Navy rum blending specifications and established the company to continue this historic tradition. The rum is blended and bottled in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Royal Navy Sailors Fund.
