Olifant is a Dutch vodka made from grain spirit handcrafted in small batches by J.J. Melchers distillery in Scheidam, Holland since 1841. Originally produced for Dutch colonists in South and West Africa in the mid-1800s, the vodka is named Olifant (Dutch for elephant) and is now produced by Wenneker Distilleries.
