Mount Gay Eclipse is a rum from the world's oldest commercial rum distillery, established in Barbados in 1703. Developed in 1911 and named for the total solar eclipse and passage of Halley's comet in 1910, it is distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured in ex-American whiskey casks.
