Meukow cognac was founded on August 1, 1862, when brothers Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow from Silesia established a commercial office in Cognac to supply the Russian Court with eaux-de-vie. The brand is now distributed in more than 80 countries and is famous for its distinctive bottles adorned with a leaping panther emblem.
