Malibu is a coconut-flavored rum liqueur with 21% ABV that was invented in 1978 by Tom Jago in England and originally produced in Barbados. It is the world's number one white rum-based coconut spirit, now owned by Pernod Ricard, with coconuts partly sourced from farming communities in the Philippines.
