Lapis Tequila (formerly Lapiz) is the hallmark brand from the Tequileña Distillery, masterfully crafted by Enrique Fonseca, Mexico's largest highland agave cultivator. The tequila is made from agaves grown at over 5,000 feet elevation in Jalisco's Atotonilco el Alto and aged exclusively in French oak for added complexity with prominent agave character.
